GENERAL INFORMATION: Probably more than you wanted to know. |

|
The American Harp Society -
On this site you will find: activities, articles and a Harp Teacher listing. |

|
The Electric Harp Column -
Articles and classified adds. |

|
The Harp Page - General
information about everything harp. Be careful, you could get lost in the maze of harp
information. You might not be back for weeks (if your connection doesn't fail you). |

|
William Rees, Harps - -
Some of the best harp care information I have seen anywhere. Of course, he also makes
excellent harps. |
KITS: If you want to build your
own harp, I would recommend looking at either of the following sites. They do sell
completed harps also. |

|
Musicmaker's Kits - The
"Studio Harp" has a sound very similar to our 4-Octave harp. The kit itself is
the easiest to build kit that I have seen, and produces a very sturdy harp, with a good
sound. |

|
Stoney End Music - The
"Lorraine" is a good example of a Gothic harp (if you prefer that style). The
sound is more mellow (darker) than the Irish style harps. I would recommend this kit to
someone with some woodworking experience and a desire for the sound and appearance of the
Gothic harp. |
